Parsonage v. Wal-Mart Associates, Inc.

February 4, 2026
Wal-Mart ran a background check on a job applicant but allegedly botched the ICRAA disclosure form, then won summary judgment because she showed no real-world harm. Government Code section 12926.1 now names the case and disclaims several of its interpretations.
